Transcendental Meromorphic Functions with Three Singular Values
Every transcendental meromorphic function f in the plane which has only three critical values satisfies lim inf r→∞ T (r, f) log r ≥ √ 3
متن کاملGeometric Rigidity for the Class S of Transcendental Meromorphic Functions
We consider all the transcendental meromorphic functions from the class S whose Julia set is a Jordan curve. We show that then the Julia set is either a straight line or its Hausdorff dimension is strictly larger than 1.
متن کاملGeometric Rigidity for Class S of Transcendental Meromorphic Functions Whose Julia Sets Are Jordan Curves
We consider any transcendental meromorphic function f of Class S whose Julia set is a Jordan curve. We show that the Julia set of f either is an extended straight line or has Hausdorff dimension strictly greater than 1. The proof uses conformal iterated function systems and extends many earlier results of this type.
متن کاملWhich elements of a finite group are non-vanishing?
Let $G$ be a finite group. An element $gin G$ is called non-vanishing, if for every irreducible complex character $chi$ of $G$, $chi(g)neq 0$. The bi-Cayley graph ${rm BCay}(G,T)$ of $G$ with respect to a subset $Tsubseteq G$, is an undirected graph with vertex set $Gtimes{1,2}$ and edge set ${{(x,1),(tx,2)}mid xin G, tin T}$. Let ${rm nv}(G)$ be the set of all non-vanishi...
متن کاملFormal Meromorphic Functions on Manifolds of Finite Type
It is shown that a real-valued formal meromorphic function on a formal generic submanifold of finite Kohn-Bloom-Graham type is necessarily constant.
